We were told not to get changing pad covers because babies just go to the bathroom all over them and you need to change them constantly. So, we used towels and old blankets. The problem with those is that they don't stay on the cover and they slide all over the place when the baby is on the changing table. This is perfect! It has elastic to keep it in place and small slots in each side to accommodate for the straps that are on the changing pad. The material is very soft and they wash up very nicely without getting the fuzz balls. We got 2 of these because they were priced so well! Very happy with them!!

This changing pad cover is a velour-texture and very soft for baby to lay on. It has slits so that the seat belt straps can fit through easily. Pad is easy to put on and machine washable. Very good buy and a fraction of the cost compared to stores!
2013 JANUARY UPDATE:
This cover is STILL top quality after many washes and hasn't lost its color or elasticity at all. It NEVER comes off, no matter how much my baby wiggles. Great buy!!

Now that I have had my first baby, I know now to buy at least 4 or 5 change pad covers. You will get poop and other stuff on the cover!
The great thing with these covers is they wash really well, are very stretchy so they fit many sized pads and have a cute design. This last one is more for me since I can see it; the baby is lying on it and doesn't care what colour the change cover is. :)
They only problem I have had is they get really bad static in the dryer, but it's not a huge deal.
