Initially, I bought Baby Mum Mums teething wafers for my baby but I stopped buying them once I realized that they were made in Guangzhou, China. I have seen countless recent news articles about problems with quality control in Chinese factories. So, I happily switched to plum organics teething biscuits, which are baked in Italy. They are made with whole grain buckwheat and real fruit & veggies. They easily dissolve in my baby's mouth and my baby likes the flavor, as well. I think that gnawing on them soothes her gums. They are also portable and easy to pack along.

Mommy was way more excited to give baby girl a new treat. She was 8 months with zero teeth appearing. Needless to say, gumming these very rice paper slash super glue concoction didn't make a hit. It adheres to her lip like licking a frozen metal pole and almost fused her lips together. She grimaced and dropped it onto the floor and crawled away never looking back. She would devour the Mum Mums without any setbacks but watching her pry her lips off her face and ditching the piece of particle board was a definite comical moment for mom, however she would beg to differ. I decided to try it and with adeptness to eating and a full mouth of permanent teeth, the darn thing nearly fused my lips shut. Tasted like slightly flavored foam. Conclusion: got no new snacks but she definitely loves playing with it still wrapped.

I love Plum products, but these miss the mark. They are overpriced and my kids -- who usually eat anything that is even remotely shaped like a cracker -- won't eat them. I was also disappointed to see how much sugar they have in them. Might as well just go with graham crackers for snacks, or the Earth's Best biscuits for teething.
